Some of the NHRA, NOPI class rules don't give a crap about what intake, exhaust, engine management, steering wheel, or boost gauge you are running. What does matter is the motor and tranny. That determines whether or not you will be racing against a low 8's / high 7's Supra with a TH400 or fellow 300's, RX-7's and what not that will be running anywhere from 9 sec passes to 14 second passes. I would prefer to run against a wider class that I feel like I have a chance in. If you swap the tranny for an american job, or the HKS 6 spd you just pust threw yourself into that class with the low 8's / high 7's second Supra where more than likely you will have the paint sucked right off your car. He's not asking Arnel to change his site or the way he run's it. Only bringing up something a lot of people don't quite realize.
